Rural WiFi named Broadband Provider of the Year at the Chambers Ireland InBUSINESS Awards 2023

The InBusiness Recognition Awards, hosted by Chambers Ireland, shine a spotlight on exceptional business success, innovation, and the resilience of Irish companies.

The awards ceremony took place on Friday 26 May at Clontarf Castle, with Anton Savage as the MC and Ian Talbot, CEO of Chambers Ireland, presenting the awards. Rural WiFi stood out in the Broadband Provider category for its approach to putting the customer first and breaking the current trend seen in the broadband industry of poor customer service.

We are honoured to receive this award. At Rural WiFi, we pride ourselves on being customer-focused. I’m just the pretty face of the company but it's really down to everybody at table 3 and everyone back in our HQ in Blanchardstown. We set out in 2015 to connect people when they were told they couldn’t get connected. There was a gap in the market for someone who cared to go that extra mile and we filled it.

We made a lot of mistakes at the start and now we know exactly what we are doing, we don't make a sale we make a customer! Most companies have Business Development teams and Customer Support we have a dedicated section called Customer Success and that's been the success of our business. It's why we’re one of the highest ranked broadband providers in Ireland, and it's why our TrustPilot and in all of our reviews our Customers love us. I’ve written a few myself, all joking aside I really wanted to thank the team, the atmosphere we have created together in our office is why we are winning. We have a young energetic team of fantastic people who have been given the opportunity to go and manage their own expectations, to be true to themselves and to never give up and it's a testament to everybody on our team.

Thanks very much for this award and the recognition of our team.
