The package comes with unlimited data, meaning you can stream, game and browse as much as you like without the fear of being cut off after passing your data limits. This is perfect for those working or studying from home.
The Rural Wireless PLATINUM Package for a 12-month contract is €59.95 for the first three months and €69.95 thereafter. Alternatively, you can sign up for the 24-month contract, €49.95 for the first three months and €69.95 thereafter. We also offer a rolling contract for those who do not wish to sign up for a 12 or 24-month contract at €75 a month. Perfect for areas that will receive waiting on the National Fibre Broadband Rollout in the coming months.
What are Dual-Band Routers?
Our Dual-Band Rocket Routers are the next generation of WiFi routers/modems far superior to the more commonly used standard single-band routers. These routers can support an internet speeds of up to 2,000+Mbps.
They are capable of transmitting and receiving data using 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies at the same time. The 5GHz is what makes the routers really shine and deliver these high speeds.
Although the 5GHz frequency has its drawbacks. It can’t broadcast its WiFi signal as far as the 2.4 GHz frequency and is not compatible with some older devices. This new router is classified as a ‘Simultaneous Dual-Band’. This means that the user will have two separate wireless networks working at the same time. This avoids overcrowding, interference and flexibility to deliver the best possible connection.
