From Rural Areas to Film Sets: An Inside Look at Rural WiFi’s Journey with Chief Operating Officer Grace

“Rural WiFi has exciting plans for growth and development. We are committed to providing our customers with the best possible service and continue to explore new ways to expand our coverage and enhance our offerings. We have primarily focused on the residential side of things to date but most recently, we entered into a partnership with Virgin Media to sell their home worker package and have begun targeting B2B. It’s a sector that we’re already active in, but we want to develop and grow further. We often work with film sets in Ireland who tend to film in remote areas and would need our services. We’ve provided WiFi for the set of the Elizabeth Banks film Cocaine Bear, Netflix The Wynx Saga and many other Film Studios across Ireland. We’re keen to drive that side of the business this year and beyond.”

We understand that technology can be complicated, and we strive to make it as easy and stress-free as possible for our customers.  Rural Wi-Fi also now offer our customers an installation service. Some of our customers are in rural areas and they might need an extra bit of help setting up. Whatever the customer needs, we go above and beyond to try and provide it.

I am proud to be part of a team that has brought broadband to thousands of homes in rural areas, bridging the digital divide and making a positive impact on people’s lives and ensuring that everyone in Ireland has access to high-speed internet. It is a rewarding feat to know that we are enabling people to access education, work remotely, and stay connected with their loved ones, regardless of where they live.

I believe that this is not just a business, but a mission to make a real difference in people’s lives, and I feel privileged to be a part of it.
